​ in the Green Heart of the Highlands

Floral Art Exhibition

Waratah Display

 Robertson at this time of year boasts a mass display of waratahs in full flower on the southern bank of the railway line at the Robertson Railway Station, as well as magnificent flower displays in the walks on the common.

​We will also have waratah flowers, seed and plants for sale at our event on Sunday 2nd October as well as during the Open gardens weekend and from the Fettlers Shed Gallery while the art exhibition is open..

Gourmet Coffee Van

The Gourmet Coffee Van - "Magnificup" - has been booked for the day.  Coffee lovers will be able to enjoy their caffeine hit in the fresh air.

 Model Trains

Our Open Day will feature some excellent model train layouts of various scales with a large set up in the model train room and further displays in the gallery annexe. Watch scaled down working models of actual trains running through cuttings and over points, and admire the fascinating scenery constructed by our model train group - very like the real thing.

Ride On Mini Train

Our Spring Event  will have a ride on train pulled by a scaled down model steam loco for young and old to enjoy. It is provided by our local Southern Highlands Model Engineers group and always provides great fun for all. ​

​Robertson Loop Train

We will be selling tickets for the train ride leaving Robertson around 12.30 pm  into Moss Vale and back.

This provides a lovely ride in vintage railway cars across the beautiful Southern Highlands for views you can only see these days on tourist trains like the Cockatoo Run.

Vintage Farm Machinery​

The Berrima District Old Machinery Club will be setting up a display for those that love to examine the abilities of past generations of engineers, machinists and mechanical designers.

There may be tractors dated back to 1944, and stationary engines from the early 1900 to 1950s.  PLUS lots of noise and smells from yester-years

The Robertson Railway Refreshment Room RRRR - will be set up on the Railway Common selling
