The Robertson Loop

Robertson to Moss Vale and back
​This short trip is a continuation of The Cockatoo Run Vintage Tourist Train Run on occasions when the train runs to Moss Vale.
Note: The Cockatoo Run arrives around 12.30 pm and departs when the passengers for Robertson have alighted, and those for the Loop have boarded - approximately 12.40pm. Sometimes it's a little early - sometimes a little later - so best to be prompt

When The Cockatoo Run comes to Robertson, Robertson Heritage Railway Station Inc sells train tickets from Robertson to Moss Vale and return. We call this section of the trip
​-  The Robertson Loop Train.

​We have limited seating available, with tickets available from the station on the day of travel from 10.30am.

The next Loop Run will be on Sunday 30th November 2026

The Robertson Loop Prices
Be Prompt as seats may sell out.

• Adults  $12
• Concession $ 6
• Kids over 5 years $ 6
• Family (2 kids, 2 adults) $30

Children under 5 travel free with an accompanying adult or family ticket

​The Cockatoo Run / The Robertson Loop Train visits to station

• The trip usually starts around 12.30pm and returns around 3.30pm.
•  There can be an hour & half to two hours in Moss Vale, so families may like to plan a picnic lunch for the stand-over time, or go to a cafe or restaurant.
• Times vary as heritage trains can sometimes require extra turn-around work.

Proceeds from ticket sales go to the work of the non-profit  Robertson Heritage Railway Station Inc. in maintaining and running the Robertson Heritage Railway Station & Common complex.
