Robertson Railway Waratah Dog Walk for 2017

RHRS will be holding this FUN walk as a fund raiser to continue to maintain our heritage station and grounds.
Walk with us with a Dog, with a Toy Dog or simply Walk Dog-less :-)
(and wear something red or with red in it :-)
Remember Day Light Saving! But if you forget, still come - there will be things to see and do :-)

Please step into spring with us
1. $5 minimum per entry or dog family - all donations welcome of course :-)
2. All dogs entered must be vaccinated, friendly/ non-aggressive and on a leash at all times.
3. Prior Registration for the event required to help the smooth running of this event,

- or if you have not pre-registered, please arrive at 9.30 am to register

- Perhaps bring a blanket or picnic chairs for a relax to listen to music and soak in the atmosphere.
Short walk = 0.8 km
- As per Short Walk but continue along Hoodle St (Illawarra Highway) to traffic lights at the school
If you or your dog finds the 0.8 too short but the 2.2 too long, there is a short cut (marked in yellow) through the park of approx. 1.5 kms.
Make sure you have your completed walk noted for your Certificate.
- from Station, turn right into the Robertson Bowling Club's internal road behind the pine street
- walk east to Meryla Street, turn left into Meryla Street,
- walk north to the Hoodle St (Illawarra Highway) corner
- turn left to walk west to Yarranga St corner at the motel/ post office
- As per Short Walk but continue along Hoodle St (Illawarra Highway) to traffic lights at the school
- cross at lights; continue west to Caalong Street
- turn right into Caalong Street, walking past the Community Centre
- over bridge and right turn into Hamden Park immediately past the bridge
- walk east through park over the bridge, past the amenities block, past the north-east oval into Meryla Street
- turn right into Meryla Street, walking south to Hoodle Street (Illawarra Highway) corner
- turn right again, walking west along Hoodle Street to traffic lights;
- cross at lights and return to Station via Yarranga St
- return to the Information Point beside the Reconciliation Garden
