Due to circumstances beyond our control
It saddens me to say that there will be no further Waratah Dog Walks in Robertson. This is because organisers and helpers are getting thinner on the ground as people retire and/or move from Robertson. It is simply no longer feasible to ‘run’ the walk.
 
I sincerely thank so many dog owners for their happy participation in the walk, plus FOWAS for their huge amount of work and innovative ideas.
 
I have informed and thanked sponsors for their very generous sponsorships. Any remaining items given to the walk have been donated to the Wingecarribee Animal Shelter.
 
The dogs and cats simply love the toys – understandably collars, water bowls and leads don’t get the same reaction, but the shelter’s staff are thrilled!
 
I am happy I instigated the walk and who knows what the future brings?

Robertson Heritage Railway Station (RHRS) Inc and Friends Of Wingecarribee Animal Shelter (FOWAS) Inc  held  this FUN walk as a fund raiser to continue to maintain our heritage station and grounds. ​ Proceeds 50:50 to RHRS and FOWAS.
